Our customers have used pebble tile to quickly and affordably spruce up their old brick fireplace! The durability and head resistance of pebble tile make it a perfect material to use to cover your existing fireplace or mantel area. Installation on vertical surfaces like your fireplace surround are just as easy as installing on the floor. Just lay the Quikset – press the tiles in so they stick, wait for it to set and grout over the top! It’s really that easy to create a whole new look to what is often the centerpiece of your main room – your fireplace! For more detailed instructions on how to install pebble tile and even a video detailing installation, visit our Pebble Tile Installation Instructions.
See below for some inspiring examples sent from previous StrataStones customers:
- This beautiful fireplace example uses our Grey Marble Mosaic Tile for a clean, rustic look.
- Another example uses our Earthy Tan Pebble Tile with white molding and Ash wood floors to create a contemporary yet natural feel in the great room.
- This application uses our Polished Auburn Pebble Tile to surround a gas fireplace insert.
- This unique application uses our pebble tile underneath their wood burning stove where hardwood or laminate flooring cannot be used. The natural pebble tile withstands the extreme heat with ease.

In your 2nd fireplace picture, you have covered the fireplace hearth with a solid stone/cement…. Can you tell me the name of this solid material and where I could buy it? I want to imitate this picture of yours with your “Earthy Tan Pebble Tile with white molding and Ash wood floors to create a contemporary yet natural feel in the great room.”
Thanks.

Beth,
In this picture there is a white granite as the fireplace ledge and the rest of the mantle is constructed from wood.
Glad you like the fireplace! If you send pictures when yours is done we will put it online as well!
Thanks!
