At StrataStones we sell several several different types of pebble tile. Each style is unique and has it’s own type of beauty. The different types consist of: natural pebble tile, glazed pebble tile, polished pebble tile, mini pebble tile, sliced pebble tile, mosaic flat tile, and glazed mosaic flat tile. Below I will explain some of the differences and advantages of each type pebble tile.
Natural Pebble Tile: This is the classic river stone tile. The individual stones are left in their natural state the same way they were found on the beaches of South East Asia. These are far and above our most popular type of pebble tile.

Glazed Pebble Tile: Offered in most of the same colors as the natural pebble tile these stones have pre treated with a high gloss stone sealer and enhancer that gives them a beautiful shine and also helps to protect them from the hazards presented in any modern home.

Polished Pebble Tile: Our polished stones are individually tumbled to a high shine. The polished pebble tile are more slippery than the other selections but are still suited for wet areas including showers and pools if adequate grout is used for friction. the polished pebble is available in unique colors exclusive to the polished collection. The polished pebbles will definitely add a unique, beatiful look to any area of your home.

Sliced Pebble Tile: Available in many of the same colors as the glazed and natural style these pebbles are individually cut to a perfectly flat, even surface. These tykes are great when you are looking for a round pebble look but need a very flat surface.

Mini Pebble Tile: Our rare and exclusive mini pebbles offer a unique look. These miniature river stones are all Han picked from the beaches of Indonesia and then carefully graded to ensure a flat walking surface. Each pebble is then painstakingly bonded to a sturdy mesh backing for easy installation.
